We are seeking an Experienced Barista and Waitress to join the team at Publics Corner in Dandenong, VIC. This is a part-time position that offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment where quality service and excellent coffee craft are paramount. You will be working in a rapid-paced setting, delivering outstanding customer experiences whilst demonstrating your expertise in both beverage preparation and front-of-house service.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffee drinks, with consistent quality and attention to detail
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee equipment to the highest standards
- Provide efficient and courteous table service to guests, taking orders and delivering food and beverages
- Manage point-of-sale systems and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in both the bar and service areas
- Interact professionally with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak periods
- Respond to customer queries and concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a barista, demonstrating advanced knowledge of coffee preparation and presentation




- Demonstrated experience in waitressing or table service within a hospitality setting
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality in both beverage and service delivery
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts
- Current food safety or hospitality-related qualifications are advantageous
