About the Job

The Shire of Esperance is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee CAD Technician or an experienced Technical Officer CAD to join our Asset Planning & Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and design of infrastructure projects that help shape our community.

About You

Trainee CAD Technician

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A commitment to completing a Diploma of Civil Construction Design.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Sound mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and genuine interest in civil design and infrastructure.

Technical Officer CAD

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Diploma of Civil Construction Design or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design projects, including roads, drainage, footpaths, or similar infrastructure.
- An understanding of the Safe System Approach to road design.
- Experience in the use and manipulation of geospatial data.




- Highly developed civil design and drafting skills, preferably using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Salary
Trainee CAD Technician: $37,606.00 - $62,921.00 per annum (dependent on age)
Technical Officer CAD: $86,103.00 per annum
