About the Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse with Churches of Christ Residential Aged Care at our Rockingham Aged Care service in Cardwell, you'll play an important role in delivering quality clinical care that supports the health, wellbeing and dignity of our residents.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, ensure high standards of care and help create a safe, welcoming and home-like environment for older Australians.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Conduct baseline and focused clinical assessments to support resident wellbeing.
- Develop, review and update resident care plans to ensure individual care needs are met.
- Provide wound care management and monitor clinical outcomes.
- Support, guide and mentor care staff while providing clinical leadership on shift.
- Liaise effectively with residents, families and team members while ensuring compliance with aged care standards, policies and procedures.

About You

You are a compassionate and resident-focused Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality aged care. You bring strong clinical skills, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to supporting both residents and colleagues.

You'll Ideally Bring:

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and care planning.
- Robust clinical assessment, documentation and communication skills.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.

Desirable Experience

- Minimum 12 months' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience within residential aged care.
