Operations Manager - Property Investment & Finance Company

Our client is a multi-award-winning property investment and finance firm based on the South Side of Brisbane. They specialise in helping Australians achieve financial independence through structured property investment strategies, mortgage brokering, and debt reduction.

Due to ongoing growth, we are now recruiting for a Operations Manager, who acts as a conduit between the Acquisitions, Contracts, Finance, Accounts Department and Build Support team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Manager you will be responsible for the communications internally as well as externally to ensure that all operations from Property Presentation stage through to the letting of the property is at its optimum and to continually be looking for ways to improve and enhance its efficiencies.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

- Oversee & influence contracts department, ensuring it's running to its full potential and constantly looking at new ways to improve
- Support the post land settlement division, ensuring builders are communicating effectively to the company, & therefore the company to clients
- Main point of contact with builders/developers/suppliers on current finance deals post EOI stage, ensuring contracts are received in a timely manner,



providing finance updates and having extensions supported where required
- Working closely with Broker Finance Manager, ensure milestones are met in a timely manner, & the finance team have what they need to achieve milestones
- Collaborate with the Acquisitions Department, oversee & assist with property supply, introducing current vendors
- Effective communication with external solicitors & other relevant facilitators
- Assisting the Accounts department where required to ensure key milestone payments from suppliers are received

Must Have:

- 3+ years in operations management (property, house-and-land, conveyancing, or mortgage broking preferred).
- Previous Contracts experience, both new build homes and Land
- BDM or similar experience working for a builder, specifically a wholesale builder
- Thorough understanding of finance, in particular investment construction finance
- Management experience

You will have a strong personal skills both inbound and outbound, excellent phone manner & a high attention to detail. You will liaise with a gamut of different areas & personas so being able to keep strong relationships with them all is crucial for your success.
