About the Role

Manpower is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Lifeguards to join a busy aquatic and recreation facility located in Crib Point, VIC.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing casual work with competitive pay rates, weekly pay, weekend penalty rates and a varied roster across Monday to Sunday. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the safety of patrons while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and supervise pool users to ensure a safe aquatic workplace
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Conduct routine pool water testing and maintain required chemical levels
- Operate pool cleaning equipment, including pool vacuums
- Clean pool surrounds, sauna facilities and aquatic equipment during quieter periods
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to facility users
- Assist patrons with basic gym equipment setup when required
- Adhere to all site safety policies, procedures and compliance requirements

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 weeks experience as a Lifeguard, Pool Attendant or in a similar aquatic environment




- Strong commitment to safety and risk management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- High attention to detail and facility presentation
- Reliable, professional and punctual

Essential Requirements

- Australian Citizenship
- Current Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check (within 30 days) or willingness to obtain one (Manpower will cover the cost)
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Crib Point
- Availability to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings
