Job Description

AMWAR FINANCIAL SERVICES PTY LTD About the Role The Fleet Manager will oversee the company's vehicle fleet, coordinate transportation activities, manage drivers and ensure that vehicles are properly maintained, compliant and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily fleet operations.
- Plan vehicle allocation, scheduling and utilisation.
- Coordinate drivers and monitor their performance and work schedules.
- Organise vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure fleet vehicles comply with relevant road transport and safety regulations.
- Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance expenses and fleet operating costs.
- Maintain accurate vehicle registers, insurance, registration and maintenance records.
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
- Coordinate vehicle procurement, replacement and disposal when required.
- Monitor transportation schedules and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with mechanics, suppliers, service providers, drivers and management.

Essential Skills and Experience





- Demonstrated experience in fleet management or transport operations.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet scheduling.
- Experience coordinating drivers and transportation activities.
- Understanding of heavy vehicle safety and transport compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, operational costs and fleet performance.
- Competency in maintaining fleet documentation and operational records.

Remuneration

- Remuneration AUD $80,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
