Job Description

We're growing our team; we're looking for a Content Creator who loves animals as much as they love making things. You'll be creating content that speaks directly to passionate pet owners — producing work that educates, entertains, and inspires action across social and digital channels.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-output content role embedded inour strategy team. As ourSocial MediaContent Creator,you'llown the end-to-end creation of social-first content-from ideation and scripting through to filming, editing, and performance tracking.You'llbe the creative engine behindthepresenceof three brands acrossTikTok, Instagram,Facebook,YouTubeand LinkedIn, helping connect with pet owners across the US market, andtranslatingscience into human stories todeliverimportant health messagesto Australians.

You'llwork closely with strategists, art directors,copywriters,and account managers at Orchard, as well as key stakeholders on the client side, to deliver content that's on-brand and genuinely compelling.

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Production (approx. 80%)

- Owntheorganic social media content plans for three brands
- Concept, script, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form video content (TikToks, Reels, Stories,) tailored to the brand’s voice and audience.
- Explore the integration of AI tools tohelpscale upcreativeproduction.
- Pets will often be the star of our content, so you will need to be comfortable filming with dogs and cats
- Maintain a consistent and compelling visual aesthetic across all content, including colour, typography, pacing, and brand treatments,working within established brand guidelines
- Conduct reporting toidentifyplatform trends, algorithmpriorities, emergingformatsand content topicsto keep content fresh,relevantand to drive organic reach.




- Writecompelling, punchycopy to be used across social media assets
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and external partners (influencers, vets, brand ambassadors) to diversify content output
- Scheduleand publishcontent acrosssocial mediaplatforms
- Identifyopportunities to share and engage with user generated content across TikTok and Instagram
- Report on the performance of social media content

Strategic & Account Support (approx. 20%)

- Contribute tosocial mediastrategicreviews andrecommendations
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with the client team,representingOrchard's creative standards at every touchpoint

Qualifications

About You

You'rea natural storyteller and platform native who understands what makes people stop, watch, and share.

You'll likely have:

- 3+ years of experience in content creation, UGC, social media, or a similar creative role
- A robust portfolio of short-form contentyou'vecreated (essential-please include with your application)
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, andFacebook-youdon'tjust consume, you create
- Proficiencyin video editing tools (native TikTok and Instagramin-appediting toolssuch asCapcut, Edits, etc,Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent mobile-first tools). Knowledge of AdobeIndesign,Illustrator,PhotoshopandFigma alsopreferred.
- Hands-on experience with AI image and content generation platformsis a plus, combined with a proactive and self-driven approach to keeping pace with emerging AI tools, trends, and best practices within the creative industry
- Confidence working independently and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously across a fast-paced account
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft sharp hooks, captions, and scripts
- A genuine passion for pets and the ability to connect authentically with pet owner audiences.
- Prior experience working in healthcarecommunicationsis desirable but not essential.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and adapting your creative style to suit different brand voices
- Experience working on US market accounts or global brand campaigns
