Your new role
As an Engineering Lead, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple technology workstreams, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. You will establish engineering standards and best practices while mentoring development teams to improve quality, resilience, automation, and maintainability.Key responsibilities include:

- Defining engineering standards for design, coding, testing, CI/CD, security, and observability.
- Leading engineering reviews and quality assurance activities.
- Coaching and mentoring engineers to uplift delivery capability and engineering maturity.
- Driving improvements in automation, resilience, maintainability, and operational excellence.
- Supporting project delivery across API development, IAM, registry transactions, legacy modernisation, cyber security, and decommissioning initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed





- Proven experience in hands-on engineering leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and secure SDLC practices.
- Experience across cloud, application, and integration engineering environments.
- Ability to drive engineering quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Active Baseline Security Clearance.

Highly desirable:
- Azure DevOps experience.
- AWS or Azure serverless technologies.
- .NET and/or Java development background.
- Experience with OutSystems, Boomi, or Dynamics platforms.
- Exposure to strangler pattern architecture and domain decomposition strategies.
