Senior Data Analyst

Location : Parramatta (hybrid)

Employment type : Temporary full‑time until 30 June 2028

Salary : $133,348.00 – $146,945.00 per year, plus superannuation and leave loading

Responsibilities

- Extract, link, clean, and analyse complex justice datasets, applying SQL and data analysis skills.
- Lead analytical projects from scoping to delivery, tackling complex data problems.
- Communicate findings in transparent, tailored formats for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical tools and methods.
- Ensure all work complies with strict privacy, security, and governance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experienced data professional with strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills; sound judgement; independent work.




- Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative and knowledge‑sharing mindset.
- Experience with cloud‑based data platforms such as Google BigQuery (preferred).
- Understanding of data governance and privacy.
