About the Role

Senior Manager – Language Services will lead the development and growth of the language services division, working closely with the executive leadership team. The role has a strong new business development focus, with responsibility for implementing global best practices in language services management across the company.

You will bring expertise in client services and/or language services sales, technology and operations, together with demonstrated leadership and staff development experience. You will draw on this experience to win new business, strengthen client relationships and grow the language services division.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement plans to grow the language services division, including interpreting and translation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Oversee service delivery to ensure quality, timeliness and client satisfaction.
- Lead, coach and develop staff, setting clear objectives and managing performance.
- Implement best practices in language services management, including quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Use technology to improve workflows, productivity and the client experience.
- Manage budgets, pricing and resources to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Work with recruitment and operational teams to maintain appropriate linguist capacity,



skills and coverage.
- Monitor performance and market trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to the executive leadership team.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated management experience in client and/or language services.
- A proven track record in business development, winning new clients and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience managing client relationships and preparing proposals.
- Strong understanding of client services operations and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
- Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, pricing and profitability management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
