A leading national firm has an opening for an experienced paralegal in its Sydney property team. The team acts for private and institutional clients on major property transactions, development projects and leasing portfolios.

What makes this different?

You'll work directly with a partner who has long-running experience in commercial property. He is known for robust negotiation skills, commercially focused advice and fast turnaround, and is often brought in on high value and time sensitive transactions. His clients include major property developers, shopping centre operators, private client groups, high profile individuals and local and state government agencies.

This means the work is varied and you'll see a wider range of matters than in many property teams:

- Acquisitions and sales of commercial, industrial and residential property
- Commercial, industrial and retail leasing for both landlords and tenants
- Property development matters from start to finish
- Government land matters, including compulsory acquisitions

What you'll do:





- Prepare and review contracts for the sale of land (residential and commercial), negotiate amendments and complete sale and purchase contracts
- Manage settlements and registration of documents in PEXA workspaces
- Assist with preparing, reviewing and executing commercial and retail lease documents

You'll bring:

- 2+ years as a paralegal in a property team within a law firm
- Strong working knowledge of commercial and retail leasing processes, and some prior exposure to PEXA
