Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into effective reporting solutions, and develop reliable, well-documented data models and reporting assets.

You will also identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting efficiency, and leverage automation and emerging technologies to enhance business intelligence capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
- Develop and maintain semantic models, reusable datasets, KPI frameworks and reporting assets.
- Manage and deliver scheduled internal and external reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power Platform and other emerging technologies.
- Drive reporting automation, data quality, and performance optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of reporting outputs and analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve reporting capabilities and deliver meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes through technology, automation, and innovative solutions.

About You





You are an experienced Reporting Analyst with a strong background in developing business intelligence and reporting solutions within large, complex organisations.

You bring strong analytical capabilities, a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders. You are proactive, adaptable, and keen to explore emerging technologies to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong experience with Power BI, including report development, deployment, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX and Power Query for data transformation, analysis, and reporting development.
- Sound understanding of data modelling principles, including dimensional modelling, star schema design and semantic layer architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, data warehousing and up-to-date cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and delivering reporting solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and requirements-gathering skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline will be advantageous.
