About OneTap
OneTap is a Sydney-based payments company building group checkout for businesses. Our Split by OneTap button sits on a business’s checkout and lets each person in a group pay their own share of a booking, so no one has to cover the full amount upfront. Businesses get more group bookings, and their customers get an easier way to pay together.
About the role
We are looking for a Sales Intern to help grow our pipeline of business customers. You will work directly with the founding team to identify, research and engage businesses that take group bookings, and set up meetings with their decision-makers. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants practical sales experience early in their career.
Key responsibilities
- Research and build lead lists of businesses across cinemas, ticketing, events, tours, travel and entertainment
- Qualify leads by reviewing how each business takes bookings and payments, and identifying the right decision-maker
- Conduct outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to secure introductory meetings
- Prepare briefing notes for the founding team ahead of meetings and support follow-up
- Maintain accurate records of leads and activity in the CRM
- Share market feedback and customer objections to help refine our pitch and product
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated, ideally in business, commerce, marketing or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Well organised and able to manage your own workload
- Based in Sydney
Nice to have
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events or retail
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- An interest in fintech, payments or startups
