About the Opportunity
STUDY AND WORK is collaborating with an innovative Australian technology company developing AI-powered digital solutions.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Test Engineer Intern interested in gaining practical experience in software testing, quality assurance and application validation.
This 12-week internship provides an opportunity to work alongside technology professionals, develop testing capabilities and gain exposure to real-world software quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases and testing scenarios.
- Perform manual, functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Identify, document, report and track software defects.
- Validate software functionality against business requirements and user expectations.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product teams.
- Assist with API testing, database validation and basic performance testing where required.
- Support software quality, usability, reliability and security testing activities.
- Prepare test reports, documentation and quality assurance summaries.

Requirements

- Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.




- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with manual testing, test cases and defect reporting.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium or similar testing platforms is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs or test automation is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
