You’ll play a key role in:

This is your chance to help shape spaces that support Australia’s defence community. Based in Perth, you’ll join a team delivering defence projects across fitout, refurbishment and new build, bringing variety and purpose to your next chapter. With experienced local leaders beside you and national capability behind you, you’ll be part of a business that backs its people -- and enjoys the team effort along the way.

- Manage day-to-day site activities and prepare short- and long-term construction programmes with the Project Manager
- Implement safety and environmental requirements, review subcontractor Safe Work Method Statements, conduct inductions and close out identified risks
- Supervise subcontractors, coordinate work sequences and deliveries, and monitor quality through to defects close-out before handover
- Hold client, architect and consultant meetings,



raise design issues promptly and liaise with building managers and tenants
- Support budget monitoring and resource management, maintain site diaries and update project progress in Procore
- Mentor and coach Site Coordinators, supporting their training, development and performance

What you’ll bring

You’ve built your experience in site management or supervision and worked across defence projects, you’re ready to bring that know-how to SHAPE. You take pride in the spaces you help create and appreciate the people who make them possible. You’re curious, generous with what you know and keen to keep learning -- someone who’ll embrace our Perth team’s mix of high standards, shared success and a little fun along the way.

- At least 5 years’ industry experience, including at least 2 years in commercial fitout site management
- Experience on projects valued from $700,000 to $5 million or more, developing construction programmes and leading site teams
- Strong knowledge of safety, environmental and quality principles, trades and services, with experience interpreting drawings and specifications and a basic understanding of contract obligations
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel,



Microsoft Project and Procore
- A current Construction Industry Card and Senior First Aid Certificate, with first aid training provided by SHAPE if needed; a building-related trade or tertiary qualification is valued but not essential
- An honest, accountable approach and respectful communication with colleagues, clients and subcontractors
- Effective time management and sound judgement, with the flexibility to respond to changing project needs
