About VIDA Health

VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including recent public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.

The Opportunity The Specialist, Developments will lead and coordinate health infrastructure projects from master planning through to detailed design and business cases, ensuring priorities are aligned, milestones are achieved, and project learnings inform future delivery. This role will manage VIDA Health’s forward pipeline, requiring expertise in project management and demonstrated experience providing technical advice.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Shaping VIDA Health’s forward pipeline by providing strategic and technical advice across planning, design, and business case development, applying project learnings to strengthen future delivery.
- Driving clear project reporting and stakeholder communication, building strong relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team, building capability, modelling strong people leadership, and driving delivery against organisational priorities.

We are looking for:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar previous role that demonstrates technical project management expertise providing technical advice and ensuring project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.




- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to identify underlying needs, navigate sensitive issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration, promote knowledge sharing and build strong partnerships across teams to deliver outcomes.
