Project The purpose of this role is to perform systems and technical analysis to support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of the Department's critical school administration systems, including CASES21 Admin & Finance, eCASES, Student Insight (Digital Enrolment, Digital 6 to 7 Placement, LOOKOUT, School Entrant Health Questionnaire), Salesforce, eduMaster, Mirror, VSR, eduHub, and other complex business applications across the Division.

Role The role undertakes critical systems analysis, implementation, technical support, and release coordination across Salesforce, ETL processes, Mirror, eduMaster, VSR, eduHub, downstream integrations, and related enterprise platforms. It ensures business requirements are translated into practical technical solutions, system integrations operate reliably, releases are delivered successfully, and business outcomes are achieved with minimal operational risk.

Accountabilities

- The role will involve coordinating and managing enhancements and deployments across both platforms, as well as undertaking technical and system analysis to support delivery.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Department's integrated business applications and their supporting business processes to provide effective business and technical analysis.




- Analyse business requirements and translate stakeholder needs into functional and technical specifications, process models, data mappings, and solution designs.
- Provide technical advice and implementation support throughout the project lifecycle while contributing to continuous improvement of integration, release management, and support practices.
- Support implementation activities, including solution configuration, deployment planning, data migration, environment readiness, production support, and post-implementation validation.

What you'll need to succeed

- Analyst with a previous Analyst/Programmer background and robust experience managing software enhancements, releases and deployments across both legacy systems and Salesforce.
- Experience working with Salesforce platform.
- Demonstrated experience working with system integrations involving both legacy applications and modern cloud-based platforms (e.g. APIs, middleware, Salesforce, ETL processes, and enterprise integration solutions).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating application releases, deployments, and implementation activities across multiple environments, including release planning, change management, deployment validation, and post-release support.
- Experience and understanding of database systems, data management, and data integration processes.
