As Venue Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Eazy Peazy Richmond, ensuring the venue runs smoothly, the team is engaged and motivated, and every guest has an outstanding experience.

You'll be a hands-on leader who leads from the front, has a strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, and knows how to balance exceptional hospitality with commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Operations

- Oversee all daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring consistently high standards.
- Lead service and maintain a strong presence on the floor during key trading periods.
- Ensure venue presentation, cleanliness and maintenance are maintained to a high standard.
- Manage bookings, reservations, functions and guest enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, OH&S; and workplace regulations.

People & Leadership

- Lead, develop and motivate the front-of-house team.
- Recruit, onboard, train and retain great hospitality staff.
- Build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
- Manage staff rosters, labour costs and team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training and performance reviews.
- Lead by example and create an environment where people enjoy coming to work.

Financial & Commercial Performance

- Take ownership of venue sales, profitability and overall financial performance.
- Monitor and manage labour costs, beverage costs and operational expenses.
- Drive revenue through strong service, upselling and local marketing initiatives.
- Monitor budgets, sales reports and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Manage stock control, ordering, inventory and supplier relationships.

Guest Experience & Brand

- Ensure every guest receives warm, engaging and memorable hospitality.
- Maintain the personality, energy and culture that makes Eazy Peazy unique.




- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
- Build relationships with regular guests and the local Richmond community.
- Work closely with the wider management team to develop events, promotions and initiatives that drive business.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has 3 years' experience in a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality leadership role.
- Has a strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations.
- Is a confident leader who can inspire, develop and hold a team accountable.
- Has sound financial knowledge and experience managing labour and others COGS.
- Is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
- Has excellent communication and people skills.
- Understands the importance of genuine hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
- Can remain calm, positive and in control in a busy service environment.
- Has a genuine passion for food, drinks, people and hospitality.
- A current Victorian RSA certificate is essential.
- Food Safety Supervisor certification is highly regarded.
