About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in telecommunications, particularly in Packet Core networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering complex telecom infrastructure projects, with a focus on 4G/5G Packet Core technologies, network operations, integration, and service delivery.

This role requires a combination of strong project management capabilities and technical understanding of mobile core network environments. You will work closely with engineering, network operations, architecture, and vendor teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining network stability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end telecommunications projects involving 4G/5G Packet Core networks and mobile core infrastructure.
- Oversee projects related to EPC and 5G Core (5GC) network deployment, integration, upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Packet Core engineers, network operations, architecture, and vendor stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Oversee network implementation, integration, testing, and operational readiness activities.
- Coordinate planned maintenance, network upgrades, and technology migration activities while minimising service disruptions.




- Work closely with operations teams to ensure effective transition of project deliverables into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Monitor project progress, technical deliverables, and service performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Manage vendor relationships, project governance, stakeholder communication, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications standards, operational procedures, and change management processes.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, risk registers, and executive-level updates.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the telecommunications industry, preferably in mobile network infrastructure or core network environments.
- Strong understanding of 4G LTE and 5G mobile network architecture, particularly Packet Core and EPC/5GC technologies.
- Positive technical understanding of Packet Core components, including SGW, PGW, MME, SMF, and UPF.
- Experience managing telecom projects involving network deployment, integration, upgrades, migrations, and operations.
- Understanding of mobile network operations, service assurance, incident management, and operational support processes.
- Experience coordinating technical engineering teams and managing multiple project stakeholders.
- Strong project planning, delivery governance, risk management, and budget management capabilities.
- Experience managing vendors, third-party service providers, and technical delivery partners.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

Good to Have

- Experience working with Ericsson Packet Core platforms.
