Role Description The Product Manager role at Zak Australia is a full-time, on-site position based in Australia.

The Product

Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, coordinating with design, sourcing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure products meet customer needs and brand standards. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing market insights, defining product requirements, managing timelines, and monitoring performance of existing product lines. The role involves collaborating with global partners to align product assortments, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, and ensuring product quality and compliance.

Manager will also prepare product presentations, support go-to-market plans, and drive continuous improvements in the product portfolio.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in product management, category management, or merchandising within consumer goods or retail.
- Strong skills in market research, data analysis, and translating insights into clear product strategies and requirements.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including timeline planning, stakeholder coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, marketing, sales, and supply chain.
- Comfort working with international partners and suppliers; experience in a global or multi-office environment is beneficial.

- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing, product design, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of consumer trends in homewares, tableware, or lifestyle products is an advantage.
