These Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) and Bus-In Bus-Out (BIBO) roles are ideal for candidates based in Mackay, Rockhampton, Moranbah, Dysart, Emerald and surrounding regions who are looking for stable employment, career development and a supportive team environment.

As part of our village team, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for thousands of guests working across Queensland's resource sector. Duties may include:

- Housekeeping and accommodation servicing
- Maintaining guest rooms and communal facilities
- Dining room and kitchen support
- Bar and retail operations
- Providing friendly customer service to guests
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation

Responsibilities

- Perform routine housekeeping tasks including cleaning, waste removal, and linen management.
- Assist in kitchen and dining area preparation, food service support, and sanitation.
- Support bar operations by restocking, cleaning, and basic beverage service.
- Provide retail assistance such as stocking shelves, handling transactions, and customer service.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain utility equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
- Follow CIS/COV protocols for infection control and personal protective equipment usage.
- Participate in shift handovers and communicate any issues to supervisors.
- Transport supplies and equipment between sites using company‑provided vehicles or buses.
- Respond to ad‑hoc tasks and emergencies as directed.

Qualifications

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in housekeeping, food service, bar, or retail environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including drive‑in/drive‑out or bus‑in/bus‑out schedules.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of basic health, safety, and infection control practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s licence (for drive‑in/out assignments) or willingness to use company transport.
- Local residency within the operational area.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
