HC TRUCK DRIVERS WANTED – LOCAL SCRAP METAL & WASTE TRANSPORT

Location: Adelaide SA – Northern & Southern Suburbs

Employment: Casual with potential for full-time employment

Giannopoulos Transport is seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused HC Truck Drivers to join our growing transport team.

The role involves local transport operations within the scrap metal and waste transport industries, offering consistent work, shifts of up to 12 hours per day and optional Saturday work for drivers looking to earn additional income.

We have transport operations across Adelaide, with arrangements available for trucks to be parked at designated southern sites. This provides opportunities for drivers living in Adelaide's southern suburbs without needing to travel to our Wingfield depot every day.

About the Role

- Local Adelaide-based scrap metal and waste transport operations

- Operating heavy combination vehicles

- Safely transporting scrap metal, waste and recyclable materials

- Completing daily vehicle inspections and complying with transport safety requirements

- Maintaining a qualified attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel

- Shifts of up to 12 hours, with additional Saturday work available

About You

To be considered, applicants must have:
- A current and valid HC driver's licence
- A minimum of 3 years' HC driving experience




- A strong commitment to safety and compliance

- Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic
- A professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- A genuine interest in developing and expanding your skills

- Valid Australian working rights

Previous scrap metal or waste transport experience is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
