About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to manage accounts receivable across the Jarvis Group.

Working closely with our Finance team and dealership General Managers, you will ensure payments are accurately allocated, outstanding accounts are actively managed and financial records are maintained. You will also contribute to process improvements and assist with broader accounting and administration tasks.

Based at Trinity Gardens, this full-time position offers flexible start and finish times and the opportunity to develop your career within an established automotive group.

Your key responsibilities

- Manage the Group’s accounts receivable function.

- Follow up outstanding accounts by phone and email, maintaining professional customer relationships.

- Allocate customer payments accurately and promptly.

- Assess new customer credit applications in accordance with company procedures.

- Reconcile accounts receivable balance sheet accounts.

- Prepare weekly debtor reports and work with the Finance team and General Managers to resolve outstanding balances.

- Monitor payment terms,



place accounts on stop credit and initiate collection procedures when required.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the implementation of changes.

- Assist with general accounting and office administration as required.

About you

You are organised, accurate and confident communicating with customers and colleagues. You take a proactive approach to resolving account queries and can manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

You will bring

- At least two years’ experience in accounts receivable, credit control or finance administration.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

- Skilled communication skills and confidence following up overdue accounts.

- Experience working within established financial procedures and controls.

- Proficiency in accounting software or dealership management systems, together with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- A practical, positive approach and willingness to assist the wider team.

Experience within a medium to large automotive business and knowledge of Pentana ERA will be highly regarded.
