Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Grade 5) for a nine-week contract from 9 November 2026 to 10 January 2027. Based in rural Queensland, this role offers the chance to work across acute care, aged care, and emergency services in a dynamic, small-team environment. You'll work rotating 8- and 12-hour shifts across a 15-bed ward and 24-hour Emergency Department, with a maximum of 80 hours per fortnight. This is ideal for a nurse who thrives in varied clinical settings and is comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities.

Preferred Requirements
- Solid rural nursing and emergency department experience
- Demonstrated triage skills and ability to lead clinically, including working as the sole RN on shift
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Aged Care National Police Certificate
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (ieMR, FirstNet, PowerChart, or HBCIS); interstate experience welcome with evidence of recognised prior learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric Life Support certification or imminent birthing experience (desirable)
- Previous experience with QLD Health, Mackay HHS, or Australian health services
