Stanthorpe Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Operating Theatre team on a four-week contract from 7 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. This is an on-call position working up to 80 hours per fortnight, offering theatre nurses the chance to work in a agile surgical environment.

Preferred Requirements
- Proven theatre nursing experience, including scrub and scout duties
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated competence in cannulation and anaesthetic support
- Experience in recovery, post-anaesthetic care, and day surgery or endoscopy settings
- Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to the demands of a busy operating theatre
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Formal theatre nursing qualification or equivalent post-registration training
- Additional certifications in perioperative nursing or critical care are advantageous
