Tahmoor Medical Centre is a busy, well-established and respected general practice in the Wollondilly community. Our team of experienced medical professionals are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. Our team includes 20 General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Receptionists, a Psychologist, Podiatrist, Physiotherapist, and Osteopath. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a professional and welcoming environment.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team in a casual or part time long-term capacity. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the clinic and ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist patients & visitors in a warm and professional manner

- Scheduling and managing patient appointments

- Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services

- Answer phones

- Process Medicare, WorkCover, CTP and private billings

- Maintain accurate patient records using Medical Director software





- Support doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals with administrative needs

- Perform general office tasks including scanning, filing, and photocopying

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role

- Proficient in Medical Director software or similar medical systems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment

- A qualified, friendly, and team-oriented attitude

- Lives in the local community
