The Role

Agri Labour Australia is seeking experienced Grain Handlers to join a busy grain warehouse operation in Goondiwindi, Queensland.

This is a outstanding opportunity for individuals with grain handling experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced agricultural environment. You'll be part of a hardworking team responsible for receiving, unloading and handling grain while maintaining safe and efficient warehouse operations.

Candidates with loader operating skills and truck handling experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

As a Grain Handler, you'll support the smooth operation of the grain warehouse, ensuring grain deliveries are received, unloaded and handled efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Your duties will include:

- Receiving and handling grain deliveries at the warehouse.
- Assisting with unloading trucks and managing incoming grain.
- Operating loaders and other equipment where trained and authorised.
- Supporting truck movements and grain handling activities.
- Performing general labouring and warehouse duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work workplace.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet operational requirements.

Benefits

- Approximately 4-6 weeks of seasonal employment.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

- Previous grain handling experience, preferably in a warehouse, grain storage or agricultural environment.
- Loader operating skills and practical experience handling bulk materials.
- Truck handling experience and an understanding of safe unloading procedures.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labouring tasks.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a busy team environment.
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to assist with various warehouse duties.
- Availability to commence work immediately.
