Primary School Education Assistants x 2

The School is seeking 2 professional, caring, enthusiastic and dynamic Education Assistants to join our School for 2027.

The first position is part-time (0.8 FTE) fixed term for 12 months working with students from Year 1 to Year 6.

The second position is also part time (0.9 FTE) fixed term for 12 months working with Year 4 students.

The Education Assistants will be responsible for supporting students learning, in consultation with the supervising Teacher.

Experience in administering diabetes to children and assisting them in the management of their diabetes is desirable.

Essential Selection Criteria

- Cert III or IV in Education Support, Teachers Aid (or similar)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with small groups of children for intervention
- Desire to assist young people in achieving to the best of their ability
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Growth mindset and can do attitude
- Committed and collaborative team player




- Proficiency in utilising ICT in a classroom workplace
- Experience in Upper Primary School
- Ability to attend school camps

Desirable Selection Criteria

- Experience in administering diabetes to children
