About the Organisation

Our client is a respected community services organisation providing culturally appropriate care, support and wellbeing services to individuals, families and communities. They are committed to delivering person-centred services, supporting self-determination and improving outcomes for children, young people and families, particularly within regional and remote First Nations communities.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- A degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a relevant behavioural science discipline.
- Experience working with at-risk children, young people and families in a case management setting.
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic interventions to children, young people and adults impacted by sexual abuse, trauma and violence.
- Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures and the challenges impacting remote communities.
- Experience delivering trauma-informed, culturally appropriate therapeutic support.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, administration and time management skills.
- A current driver’s licence, Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
