The Opportunity

This is arguably one of the best opportunities on the market for a chartered accountant seeking an opportunity to join a leading ASX in a value-adding, strategic position. Reporting directly into the CFO and leading a high performance commercial finance team, the successful candidate will have a full overview of exciting changes and projects in an internationally recognised business.

The Challenge

You will be responsible for the provision of value-add services to the senior leadership team, undertaking various stress testing and scenario analysis to provide accurate financial information for major projects.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing fact based insight into the performance of your business divisions comparable to the broader market
- Providing commercial decision making support and governance to the broader business
- Oversee commercial excellence initiatives, pricing optimisation, margin expansion, value creation, compliance and risk-mitigation opportunities
- Leading a large team of analysts
- Build organisational capability by coaching teams in data literacy, digital tools and emerging technologies that improve productivity, scalability and business performance.
- Developing initiatives to improve the productivity and profitability of the group
- Developing reports to improve the existing financial controls within the business




- Providing business case and forecasting support to improve the financial outcomes reached by the business

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following;

- Ideally, you are a CA who started their career in a chartered accounting firm
- You have significant and comparable experience working in a senior commercially focused role, preferably in a large manufacturing or FMCG business
- Strong financial modelling experience
- The interpersonal skills to mix it up with key executives in operations whilst also having the ability to present at the highest level in a global setting
