About us

Oldbury Equine Clinic is an equine-only veterinary clinic with a high percentage of sports horse and pleasure/family horses. 40% of our consults are clinic based with the other 60% being conducted on clients properties. We are seeking expressions of interest for a variety of positions in the clinic including admin/nursing/management and horse handlers. We have the latest diagnostic equipment including cordless x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy/gastroscopy, and a fully equipped lab. We presently have a team of 4 experienced equine vets working full and part time positions and team of 4 nurses/receptionists. We are looking into expanding/developing our admin/nurse/reception team with other team members. We are a family based and focused business. Every member of our team is as important as another and your happiness is our priority. We do not tolerate abuse from members of the public towards any of our staff.

Qualifications & experience





- Front of house people skills is essential. We are looking for a happy, fun, vibrant personality for front of house to welcome clients and fit in with our enthusiastic team.

- We are looking for team members who follow direction well and adhere to the clinics systems and ethos.

- Ability to work independently is essential. We embrace initiative.

- Horse experience essential. Cert 4 Vet Nursing helpful but not essential (on job training provided).

- We are keen to find team members who has experience & enthusiasm with social media and would like to take this on within their role.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Confident with phone calls and client interaction. Booking appointments & diary scheduling. Taking payment for services via eftpos.

- Assisting handling, running up and treating horses.

- Stocking vehicles & identifying clinic restocking needs. Cleaning clinic and equipment.
