About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of waste management, recycling and environmental services, supporting businesses and communities through reliable waste collection and disposal solutions.

They are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Rear Lift Driver to join their team based in Malaga.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company collection vehicles and equipment, primarily Rear Lift trucks, to complete scheduled waste collection services and deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.

This is a hands-on role suited to a safety-conscious and dependable driver with a strong work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Operating Rear Lift collection vehicles and associated equipment
- Completing scheduled waste collection services and delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
- Undertaking daily vehicle pre-starts and equipment maintenance checks
- Interacting with clients and ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures
- Completing basic truck maintenance, including greasing and washing
- Maintaining accurate records and completing required paperwork
- Undertaking general yard duties as required
- Complying with NHVR fatigue management requirements and workplace safety procedures

Roster:

- Monday to Friday
- 10-hour shifts
- Start times between 3:30am and 4:00am

What You Will Need:





- Current Australian HR licence or New Zealand Class 4 licence as a minimum
- Experience operating Rear Lift trucks highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Good communication and spoken English skills
- Reasonable reading and writing abilities
- Basic computer literacy desirable, with training provided where required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake basic vehicle maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
