About Us

Lumina Finishes is a premium architectural powder coating business based in Welshpool, Perth, and part of the Universal Anodisers Group, an Australian surface finishing company established in 1967. We specialise in architectural powder coating for aluminium windows, doors, facades, balustrades, screens, louvres, and other building products, delivering high-quality finishes for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand to join our production team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role within our busy powder coating facility. You will assist across various stages of the production process, including loading and unloading materials, hanging, and removing aluminium products from production lines, operating overhead cranes, and preparing finished goods for dispatch.

The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit, and willing to contribute wherever required to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.

- Load, unload, and move aluminium extrusions and architectural products throughout the facility.

- Hang and remove products from powder coating racks and production lines.

- Assist with packaging, wrapping, and preparing completed orders for dispatch.

- Perform quality checks on finished products.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

- Support production, warehouse and dispatch teams as required.

- Assist with general factory duties and manual handling tasks.





Skills & Experience

Essential

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environment.

- Experience operating an overhead crane.

- Solid commitment to workplace safety.

- Ability to perform physical work and manual handling duties.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work within a team environment.

- Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Highly Regarded

- High Risk Work Licence

- Forklift Licence (LF).

- Experience working with aluminium products, powder coating, fabrication, or manufacturing.

- Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
