701 Recruitment is seeking experienced HR VAC Truck Drivers and reliable Civil Labourers / VAC Truck Offsiders to join a well-established vacuum excavation contractor based in Thorneside, QLD.

HR VAC Truck Drivers:

- Operate HR Vacuum Excavation Trucks safely and efficiently
- Complete vacuum excavation and non-destructive digging (NDD) works
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Work alongside offsiders and site crews
- Maintain a robust safety focus on every job
- Work across a variety of civil, infrastructure and construction projects

Civil Labourers / VAC Truck Offsiders:

- Assist with vacuum excavation operations
- Operate hoses and equipment safely
- Manual labour and general site duties
- Support drivers and site crews to complete works efficiently
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean
- Work across a variety of civil, infrastructure and construction projects

Pay Rates:

- HR VAC Truck Drivers: $40.00 - $45.00/hr (depending on experience)
- Civil Labourers / VAC Truck Offsiders: $39.45/hr
- Weekly Pay

Essential Requirements

Drivers:

- Current HR Licence or higher
- White Card
- Previous VAC Truck, NDD, Civil or Construction experience preferred
- Road Ranger experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of site safety
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test

Civil Labourers / Offsiders:

- White Card
- Previous civil construction, labouring, landscaping, concreting, drainage, pipe laying or trade assistant experience highly regarded
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Strong safety focus
- Reliable transport and great work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test

Previous VAC Truck experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidates with strong civil or labouring backgrounds.
