Paediatric Dental Specialists is seeking 2 part-time Oral Health Therapists to join our supportive team. This unique opportunity has opened up as we prepare for the retirement of one of our long-time, dedicated OHTs in early 2027, creating a wonderful prospect for a smooth transition, mentorship, and a wealth of knowledge-sharing before they wrap up their incredible career with us. You will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and treatment to children and adolescents, supporting our philosophy to establish a trusted dental home for each child through regular maintenance, prevention-focused care, and strong family partnership. This position will see you practice across our three locations—South Perth, Mount Hawthorn, and Karrinyup—on a rolling 4-week roster
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health issues
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address dental problems
- Performing a range of dental procedures
- Providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Collaborating with the wider dental team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
- Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
What we're looking for
- Registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist qualification
- Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a caring and patient-centric approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
