Lead a high-performing dairy and freezer department in a busy, community focused supermarket.

Are you an experienced fresh food, grocery, dairy or freezer leader who takes pride in strong standards, full shelves and a well-organised team? White’s IGA is looking for a Full-Time Manager to lead the Dairy & Freezer Department at our Mooloolah Valley store. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of department performance, availability, presentation and customer experience.

About the role

As Dairy & Freezer Manager, you'll be responsible for the daily running and overall performance of the Dairy and Freezer Department, leading the team to deliver excellent standards, product availability through stock management, promoting safe work practices and friendly customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Leading, coaching and supporting the Dairy & Freezer team to deliver consistent department standards

- Maintaining full, fresh and well-presented dairy and freezer displays throughout the trading day

- Managing ordering, stock control, rotation, date checking, waste reduction and inventory accuracy

- Driving sales through strong availability, effective merchandising, clear ticketing and seasonal planning

- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety and compliance with HACCP

- Creating an organised, accountable and positive team culture where people take pride in their work

About you

- Previous experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, fresh food, retail or supermarket operations





- Confidence leading people, setting explicit expectations and keeping a key department running smoothly

- A genuine focus on customer service, product availability and fresh, well-presented displays

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage ordering, stock rotation, priorities and waste

- An understanding of cold chain requirements, food safety, hygiene and safe manual handling practices
