About the role

The Team Leader is a frontline leadership role that bridges the gap between direct service delivery and the strategic oversight of the Operations Manager. Operating across both the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and Parent Pathways (PP) programs, the Team Leader is responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring frontline staff across multiple sites, while maintaining a reduced participant caseload that keeps them directly connected to the realities of service delivery. The Team Leader ensures every member of their team has the skills, knowledge, confidence, and support to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers. They drive a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and genuine care and work in close partnership with the Operations Manager to translate organisational goals into excellent day-to-day practice.

- Design and deliver structured on-the-job training and induction for recent team members, ensuring they are capable, confident, and compliant from the outset

- Implement a regular mentoring practice with each team member, tailoring development support to individual learning needs, career aspirations, and performance requirements

- Model exemplary practice in customer engagement, case management, employer relations, and professional conduct, setting the standard the team is expected to meet

- Facilitate regular team briefings and learning sessions to share knowledge, reinforce program requirements, celebrate achievements, and embed a culture of continuous improvement

- Drive a team culture centred on exceptional customer service,

ensuring every participant and employer interaction reflects the values, professionalism, and commitment to outcomes that define Training Alliance Group

- Monitor the quality of frontline service delivery across both programs, identifying inconsistencies or emerging risks and responding with targeted coaching and support

- Maintain a reduced caseload of participants across IEA and/or PP programs, providing direct, high-quality, person-centred support in line with program guidelines and contractual requirements

- Attend all designated sites on a regular (at least weekly) basis to maintain team visibility, assess service delivery quality, provide in-person support, and reinforce consistent program standards across locations
