Casual Retail Sales Assistant / All-rounder

Store Wide Clearance | 2–4 Days Per Week | 8:00am – 4:00pm

The hours listed are an approximate guide at this stage. Ideally, we’re looking for someone available to work 2–4 full days per week. However, for the right person, we can potentially work towards a full-time position if that’s what you’re looking for.

Store Wide Clearance is a fast-paced busy clearance retail business dealing in appliances, electrical, technology, furniture, clothing, groceries and general merchandise.
Our stock changes constantly, and no two days are the same.

We are looking for a hands-on, reliable team member who can move between processing incoming stock, pricing, merchandising, and serving customers, with speed and accuracy.

This is not a slow retail role — it suits someone who enjoys high stock turnover, physical work, and a busy shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Handling & Pricing

- Receive and unpack incoming clearance stock (Need attention to detail)

- Inspect, clean, test, and repackage products where required (Need attention to detail)

- Price and ticket items accurately and quickly

- Move stock between warehouse and shop floor

Merchandising

- Merchandise new stock to the floor

- Rotate and refresh displays as stock sells through

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace





Sales & Customer Service

- Serve customers in a friendly manner and close sales across multiple product categories

- Provide practical product advice (appliances, tech, furniture)

- Work efficiently during high customer traffic periods

About You

- Proven retail sales experience is preferred, experience in appliances, electrical, tech, or furniture would be helpful, although all training will be provided

- Comfortable working with high-volume, constantly changing stock

- Fast, accurate, and highly organised

- Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting

- Robust work ethic and reliable attendance

- Able to work independently and take initiative

- Flexible for 2–4 days per week and some Saturday work

- Multitasking (customer service #1 and checking stock often at the same time)
