About the role

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Food Production All-Rounder to join our Food Services team on a full-time basis commencing at 7:00am working across Monday to Friday.

This is a busy, fast-moving production environment where meals are prepared, plated, packed and moved through the operation within set timeframes. You will need to be comfortable maintaining a consistent and efficient work pace throughout your shift, while continuing to meet our food safety, quality and accuracy standards.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. Depending on the day, you may be:

- Assisting with food preparation and cooking

- Working as part of the team to plate and pack meals efficiently and within production timeframes

- Packing, moving and organising large quantities of meals and food products

- Working in cool room and freezer areas

- Loading and unloading food, equipment and supplies

- Delivering meals and stock to our branches

- Cleaning and maintaining safe and organised work areas

The role is physically demanding and fast paced. You will be on your feet for much of the day, regularly lifting and moving food and supplies, and working across different areas as production needs change.

This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys being busy and working as part of a team where everyone needs to maintain the pace to keep production moving.

You will:

- Be comfortable working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment

- Be able to work quickly and consistently without compromising safety, quality or accuracy

- Be physically fit and comfortable undertaking repetitive and manual tasks throughout the shift

- Be reliable and ready to commence work at 7:00am

- Be comfortable working in cool room and freezer environments

- Have valuable attention to detail, even when working at pace

- Be willing to move between different tasks and areas as required

- Work cooperatively as part of a production team

- Have good communication skills

Experience:

- Production Kitchen: 2 years is preferred but not essential.

Qualification:

- Hold a current, unrestricted Driver Licence as the role includes driving a company truck to deliver meals and stock to our branches.

Along with a current Driver’s License, you will be expected to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Food Safety Certificate.
