About the role

Adelaide Cosmetic & Laser Clinic is seeking a dedicated Beauty and Laser Therapist to join our growing team in North Adelaide. This is a full-time position based at our clinic in North Adelaide SA 5006. As a Beauty and Laser Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional cosmetic and laser treatments to our valued clients, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and client care. This position is fundamental to our clinic's reputation for excellence and our commitment to helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals.

Key responsibilities

- Administering laser treatments including hair removal, skin rejuvenation and other cosmetic laser procedures in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols

- Performing beauty treatments such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and other skincare therapies tailored to individual client needs

- Conducting thorough client consultations to assess suitability for treatments, discuss desired outcomes and identify any contraindications

- Maintaining detailed and accurate client records, including treatment history, patch test results and follow-up recommendations

- Adhering to strict health, safety and infection control standards, including proper sterilisation of equipment and adherence to hygiene protocols

- Providing skilled advice on pre-treatment and post-treatment care to maximise client results and satisfaction

- Operating and maintaining laser equipment and beauty therapy tools to the highest standard

- Contributing to a welcoming clinic environment and building strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business





- Staying current with industry developments, attending relevant training and career development opportunities

What we're looking for

- Current certification or qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent relevant qualification recognised in Australia

- Current certification or qualification in Laser Therapy or Cosmetic Laser Treatment

- Demonstrated experience working as a Beauty Therapist or Laser Therapist, ideally within a cosmetic or medical aesthetics clinic setting

- Sound knowledge of skin types, conditions and appropriate treatment protocols

- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including workplace health and safety standards and infection control procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of client care

- Professional appearance and a genuine passion for the beauty and aesthetics industry

- Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one

- Experience with client management software and administrative tasks is advantageous
