Mackin Services is a family owned & operated business in Perth. We are seeking a General Hand/ Workshop Assistant to join our small team working in our Maddington workshop. We work on a large variety of trucks & plant, Including Truck mounted EWP & Cranes.
Employment Conditions
- Monday – Friday
- $33 - $38 p/h depending on experience
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay
- 2 week break over Christmas / New year period available to all employees
About the Role
- Maintaining organisation cleanliness and of the workshop & yard
- Monitoring stock levels
- Picking up parts
- Drop off/pick up mechanics when delivering trucks
- Prepare vehicles & equipment for hire
- Inspect vehicle & equipment upon return from hire & document any damage
- Assisting Mechanics where required
- Immediate start available
What we are looking for
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- Forklift (desirable)
- Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude
- Robust attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
