About the Role

TFS Demolition is seeking an experienced and reliable HC/MC Truck Driver & Heavy Machinery Operator to join our growing team.

We're looking for a versatile, hands-on operator who is confident driving Road Ranger gearboxes, completing float and cartage work, and operating a range of heavy machinery across demolition, earthworks and civil projects throughout Perth.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys getting involved in all aspects of site operations and is comfortable jumping between trucks and machinery as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Operating HC/MC trucks with Road Ranger gearboxes.

- Float work, including loading, securing, transporting and unloading heavy machinery.

- Cartage of materials, rubble, sand, limestone, spoil and other construction materials.

- Operating excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, bobcats/skid steers and other earthmoving equipment.

- Assisting with demolition, site preparation, bulk earthworks and general civil works.

- Safely loading and unloading trucks and equipment.

- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance.

- Working alongside site supervisors and other operators to complete projects efficiently.

- Maintaining safe work practices and complying with site requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

- Current HC or MC driver's licence.

- Proven experience driving trucks with Road Ranger gearboxes.

- Experience with float work and transporting heavy machinery.





- Demonstrated experience operating excavators, loaders, dozers and/or bobcats.

- Sound knowledge of load restraint and safe machinery transport.

- Construction White Card.

- Strong understanding of workplace safety.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or within a team.

Highly Regarded:

- Experience within the demolition, earthworks or civil construction industries.

- Experience operating multiple types of heavy machinery.

- Relevant machinery tickets or VOCs.

- Experience with low loaders, tippers and truck-and-dog combinations.

- Mechanical knowledge and basic equipment maintenance skills.

- Ability to assist with general site works when required.
