EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing earthmoving plant for hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.

The Opportunity:

With branches located in Perth, Newman, Karratha and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and experienced Transport Coordinator - Heavy Haulage to join the team based in Hazelmere.

With a key purpose of maximising utilisation across the fleet, core responsibilities of the role include:-

- Managing the transport schedule to ensure data is live at all times.

- Sourcing loads, allocating transport equipment and personnel to suit whilst ensuring compliance with fatigue management and roster requirements.

- Communicating and liaising with clients including business development and preparation and submission of approved quotes for heavy haulage loads.

- Supervising drivers whilst at the Perth depot, including allocating work.

- Liaising with department heads and managers regarding maintenance requirements.

- Communicating and liaising with drivers,



pilots and logistics team including preparing and sharing journey data.

- Organising and maintaining permit requirements.

- Managing and processing paperwork and systems to ensure compliance with all auditing compliance.

- Collating and preparing jobs to enable accurate billing.

- Administrative tasks including onboarding processes.

Essential criteria:

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in similar position.

- Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and Chain of Responsibility framework.

- In depth knowledge of heavy haulage loads, combinations, permits, accreditations and similar.

- Advanced computer skills.

- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage and adapt to changing demands.
