Physiotherapist & Podiatrist – Join Allied Circle

About the Role

Allied Circle is seeking dedicated, qualified and compassionate Physiotherapists and Podiatrists to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team.

You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, supporting their rehabilitation, mobility, independence and overall health and wellbeing.

The roles involve a combination of clinic-based consultations, home visits and community-based services across Cessnock and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Physiotherapist

- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients' physical needs and functional limitations.

- Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans based on clinical findings and client goals.

- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, functional training and rehabilitation.

- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

- Provide education on injury prevention, mobility, ergonomics and home exercise programs.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records.

- Collaborate with other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

Podiatrist

- Conduct comprehensive foot and lower-limb assessments.

- Diagnose and manage a range of podiatric conditions.

- Provide treatment for foot pain, skin and nail conditions, biomechanical issues and mobility-related concerns.

- Develop individualised treatment and management plans.

- Provide footwear advice, orthotic recommendations and preventative foot care.





- Support clients with diabetes-related foot care and other complex foot health needs within their scope of practice.

- Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Relevant recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy or Podiatry.

- Current AHPRA registration in the relevant profession.

- Solid clinical reasoning, assessment and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- A genuine commitment to client-centred care and improving clients' quality of life.

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for community and home-based appointments.

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, where applicable.

Desirable Experience

- Experience in private practice, rehabilitation, community health, disability or hospital settings.

- Experience working with NDIS participants and older adults.

- Knowledge of disability support, aged care and relevant funding systems.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based clinical practice.

Clinic-Based and Community Services

The successful candidates will provide face-to-face services at our Cessnock clinic 2 days per week, with additional services delivered through home visits and community-based appointments as required.
