We're a specialist orthodontic practice in Ivanhoe seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. Whether you're qualified or starting your healthcare journey, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for

- A genuine interest in dental health and orthodontic treatment

- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills

- Good dexterity, attention to detail, and spatial awareness

- Solid communication and computer skills

- Willingness to learn and grow with us

- Local residents preferred (Ivanhoe area)

Experience level

Both options welcome:

- Qualified Assistants: Previous orthodontic experience is ideal but not essential

- Trainees/School Leavers: No prior experience needed — we'll support you through the Certificate III in Dental Assisting (12–18 month traineeship with on-the-job learning plus study at RMIT)

Day-to-day responsibilities

- Chair-side assisting during treatments





- Patient flow and appointment management

- Instrument sterilisation and infection control

- Surgery preparation and stock management

- Keeping the day running smoothly for patients and team alike
