Restaurant Manager - Ember & Ash

Ember & Ash is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional dining experiences in one of the Brisbane's most vibrant venues.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front, and is committed to creating unforgettable guest experiences while driving solid team performance.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and an energetic, positive team culture. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive performance, maintain operational excellence, and create a welcoming and memorable environment for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train, and inspire the front-of-house team
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and service flow
- Maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
- Manage rostering, labour control, and team performance
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and venue policies
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service
- Monitor venue performance and support revenue growth initiatives

About You

- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up
- Natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Robust understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
- Confident managing teams, labour, and performance targets
- Calm under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and peak periods
