Job Title: Baker / Pastry Baker

Location: Chinese community area (Mandarin-speaking team environment)

Employment Type: Full-time (5 days/week, approx. 40 hours); part-time and flexible arrangements negotiable

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Relevant work experience in a bakery required.
- Proficient in the full baking process, including dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, baking, and finishing/decorating, as well as preparing various fillings and creams.
- Demonstrated experience across a range of product categories; responsible for regularly developing new products.
- Experience making sweet dough suited to Asian palates is required. Product range includes:



sweet buns, savoury buns, toast, dinner rolls, and other small pastries, cookies, and flaky/pastry-style items.
- Work location is in a Chinese community area; team communication is primarily in Mandarin, so bilingual (Mandarin/English) bakers are preferred.
- Full-time bakers work 5 days per week, approximately 40 hours; part-time and other scheduling arrangements can be negotiated.
- Pay and conditions comply with Australian legal wages and benefits; meals and accommodation are not included.

Pay: $53,900.00 – $85,700.00 per year
