Position Overview:

We seek a dedicated and empathetic Male Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. In this role, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality support and care to an individual with cerebral palsy, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a positive and respectful workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Experience with hoist
- Offer emotional support and companionship, encouraging social interaction and participation in community activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members, providing clear and accurate information about care plans and any changes in the client’s condition.




- Domestic cleaning and being proactive i.e dishes, vacuuming and keep participants area clean without being told to.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in disability support work or a related field, with hands-on experience in personal care.
- Relevant certification or training in disability support or personal care is preferred (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support, First Aid certification).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Compensation:

- Potential for higher pay based on proven experience and qualifications.
