GEMELEC Electrical Services is a family owned and operated electrical and CCTV business based in Matraville. Since 2018 we've looked after homes, businesses and builders across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and South Sydney.
One of our team is heading off on 8 weeks' leave, so we're after a licensed electrician to help us out 2-3 days a week while they're away, starting as soon as possible.
The work
- Residential and light commercial: maintenance, fault finding, renovations, fit-offs and switchboard upgrades
- Working with the owner, or running smaller jobs on your own
- Mostly Eastern Suburbs and South Sydney, travelling job to job
What you'll need
- NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate - Electrician (or contractor licence)
- Your own car and tools
- White Card and a current driver licence
- Confident fault finding and working on your own
- Tidy work and a friendly, professional manner with customers
Bonus if you have
- Solar and battery experience
- CCTV,
security or access control experience
The details
- Casual, 2-3 days a week for about 8 weeks
- $58-$85 per hour (casual rate, 25% loading included), plus super
- Vehicle and travel allowances paid for work driving
- Versatile on which days suit you
- ABN / sole-trader electricians with their own insurance are welcome too, rate negotiable
