About the role
Fresh is where quality, pace and great teamwork come together. As Fresh Trade Manager, you’ll lead Produce, Deli and Bakery, bringing your teams together to deliver fresh, quality products that are ready when our customers want them.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll lead daily priorities across production, replenishment, presentation, food safety, promotions and seasonal events. You’ll use sales, waste and stock insights to improve performance, while staying close to the floor and coaching your team to build their skills. From a busy Deli counter to tomorrow’s bake plan, you’ll balance the detail with the bigger commercial picture and help Fresh perform at its best.
About you and your skills
- Experience in retail, FMCG or another fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- A passion for fresh produce and creating excellent experiences for our customer
- A team-first leadership style, with the ability to coach, develop and bring out the best in others
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience working to sales, cost and operational targets
- Ability to use data and insights to make decisions, solve problems and improve performance
- A strong focus on quality, safety, compliance and maintaining great store standards
